February 8-10, 2013

Early Bird Option:  February 7, 2013

Ladies, let's give those "winter blues" a warm up!  Join us for our second annual Women's Winter Weekend where you'll find renewal in a retreat designed by and for women.  With a fun, relaxed schedule and precious times of worship and fellowship, our retreat will be the perfect "ahhh!" to your mid-winter blahs.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

Horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing, snow tubing, knitting, crafts, massages and pampering activities, workshops, table games, delicious food, optional Thursday arrival with special options, lots of time to deepen friendships.

THEME:  "The Journey of Your Shoes"

We LOVE our shoes!  Some are pretty and perfect for that special occasion.  Some are just frivolous fun; while others are practical and functional.  Some reveal our jobs and others reflect our passions for life, sports, and activities.  Our shoes tell a story about our life journey ... who we are, what we do, where we've been, and where we're going.  Join us for this February retreat where we'll share biblical wisdom and "sole searching" to help us walk this journey of faith ...  and slip into some comfy, relaxed weekend fun, too!

SPEAKER

Carmen Hansen

Carmen Hansen is in her 35th year of her journey with Jesus after realizing her need as a teenager for the unconditional love of God.  Her passion is communicating His love to others through sharing the "stories of her shoes" and helping others understand where their shoes are and how God might be using them.  She is a former labor & delivery nurse and still loves her babies who are now 24, 22, and 17.  Carmen and her husband Thor have been blessed with 27 years of marriage and live in Eden Prairie MN.
