There is no better setting for growing future church leaders and servants of Jesus Christ than a place like Camp Lebanon! Experienced supervision. Challenging assignments. Fun atmosphere. Spiritual nurturing. Caring friends. Memories for a lifetime. In fulfillment of Jesus' Great Commission to make disciples, Camp Lebanon is excited to offer a four-track program for leadership training. Teens may apply for more than one level of training for the summer, serving from one to ten weeks. All weekends are off and spent away from Camp.
The adventure begins here for the aspiring Camp Lebanon Staff member. Sweat Team is hard work--but it is also a fun training program for teens wishing to serve in the areas of housekeeping, maintenance, or dish-washing. While working in one of these three areas youth may find out for themselves that hard work can be fun. Features include orientation to Camp service, Bible studies, and evening specials. Upon completion, "graduates" are eligible to apply for Service Crew and LIT. This program is structured in two-week units, and both weeks must be completed in order to graduate from Sweat Team. Teens unwilling to sweat need not apply!

Serving in a variety of areas, participants provide vital support to Camp. Teens who have completed Sweat Team may volunteer for a week or more in housekeeping, maintenance, food service, or program. Sweat Team graduates from 2011 or previous summers may serve on S.C. Team members will find a special reward from service that can be both life changing and eternally significant. As a "thank you," teen volunteers receive either a $15 camp discount for each week served or a $5 canteen credit for the week served.

Both challenging and rewarding, L.I.T. is designed to disciple teens in servant leadership. This three week program offers a great opportunity for teens to be stretched and to grow while being a part of a community of other teens who want to live for Jesus. LIT is not just a "natural progression" in our program, but an amazing experience for Christians who are serious about their faith. Classroom and hands-on training under experienced guides provide significant growth opportunities. Applicants must be dedicated followers of Jesus, active in church, eager to learn, and Sweat Team grads. 2012 LIT Grads may apply to be Jr. Counselors as volunteers through the Service Crew Program. LIT grads are eligible to apply to be a Junior Counselor (Level 4) for the following summer.

I grew up with a yoke hanging over our fireplace. My Grandma grew up on a farm and, I guess, she kept it! Somehow my dad ended up with it, and it became a decoration! Sometimes my parents used interesting things to decorate with!
