"Young at Heart"  Senior Spring Retreat 2012

  Spring Registration - Click Here!

Join us each Spring and Fall for four days and three nights of fellowship, worship, fantastic Bible teaching, and quiet strolls on some of Camp's trails. Geared for folks ages 55 and over, the Senior Retreat is a wonderful way to reconnect with old friends . . . and make a few new ones along the way! All denominations are welcome. Camp's "senior friendly" facilities (e.g. elevator, handicap accommodations, helpful staff) make it possible for most everyone to enjoy a visit. You'll leave having laughed a lot, and more importantly, with your walk with Christ encouraged.

Sweeter Than Chocolate!  Is there anything sweeter than a Hershey's Kiss?  The famous Swiss chocolate Toblerone, perhaps? Ah, but there is something far more satisfying and eternally more lasting than the sweetest of chocolates: the words of God!  One psalmist declared that His laws are sweeter than honey (apparently, chocolate was not yet invented!).  Another invited us to taste and see that the Lord Himself is good!  And we will!  Guests will also enjoy a feast of samples . . . sweet promises from the Almighty.

Speaker:

Dr. Todd Olson  Pipestone.  Willmar.  Rochester.  Now First Evangelical Free Church in Maplewood.  In four pastorates covering twenty years, God has used Todd to recruit and nurture disciples for Christ all across the state.  Raised in Fertile MN, Todd and wife Sharon have five children (two married).  While Todd loves yard work, walking, and restoring cars ('35 & '37 Chevys, '56 Ford, '67 Camero), he finds his greatest satisfaction in seeing people know and grow in Christ.

Clayton Pyche, Jim & Vera Konold, Ken & Nancy Ackerman

"Come on Home"

Spring Senior Day 2012

One of Camp Lebanon's most blessed events, Senior Day is a semi-annual gathering of hundreds of senior aged saints. They come to enjoy wonderful singing, inspirational Bible teaching, delicious food, joyful fellowship, and a special guest artist. The only problem with this day is that it is over all too quickly.

Date:

May 15, 2012

Arrival Time:

9am

Departure Time:

6pm

Price:

FREE! (A love offering will be received to help with an important Camp Lebanon project.)

Special Guest:

Great Adventure Gospel Band  They're back . . . two years older and two years sweeter!  The Great Adventure Gospel Band, consisting of David and Kris Garms and six of their eight children, will treat Senior Day guests to a toe-tapping, hand-clapping "Concert of Praise."  With a bluegrass sound performed in "acoustic Southern Gospel," the Band strives through their voices, instruments, and message to encourage people to "live the Word."  Whether enhanced through a variety of instruments, harmonized a capella, or accompanied by piano, the Gospel songs and old hymn favorites will bless your soul!  Since their first visit in May 2010 the Garms have gone full-time in singing to gatherings throughout the Midwest.

Reservations are accepted by mail or phone. If possible, please call at least one week in advance.
