The Dads N Lads retreat is loaded with fun and activity for dads and their boys (ages 5 - 100, grandpas welcome!) who just want to come play together at camp! From start to finish, these weekends will give boys, whether little or big, the opportunity to just be boys at camp. And more importantly, dads will have an incredible opportunity to impact their sons and build some lifelong memories together.

SPEAKER
Abe Cardosa When it comes to hunting, Pastor Abe has two favorite stands. One is his pulpit at First Baptist in Anoka. His gun is the Bible and the bullets are the promises of God. The other is a specially designed deer shack in the north woods of Wisconsin. Hunting in three states, Abe will bag as many as seven deer in a year. He knows deer. He knows how to shoot. And he knows his guns. In fact, he'll bring a fascinating sample from his large collection of rifles, shotguns, and handguns for the Friday "Gun Show." Saturday he'll share secrets on hitting the bullseye, complete with a shooting clinic when all interested boys can take aim at the bullseye as well as the prize for the best shot of the day! Abe loves the Word of God. He's also passionate about guns and hunting. For Dads N Lads, that combo is right on target.
SUNDAY SPEAKER
Gould Brothers Exhibition Shooting Two brothers. Two shotguns. Lots of fun! Whether shooting from the shoulder, hip, or between the legs or taking aim at one, two or five targets at once, the results are the same . . . everytime. Hit. Hit. Hit. Steve and Aaron Gould are professional shooters from Alexandria and they are laser-focused on hitting a bullseye both with their guns and in their lives. Paint Ball Battle Royale IV: Fathers and sons team up to do battle in the North 40 Jungle. Cost: $15 per dad and $10 per son (includes marker, helmet, and 200 rounds). Prepay with registration. For boys 9 and older. Dads must play along side sons 14 and under. Do not bring your own paintball markers.
ACCOMODATIONS
Dorm units (Chalet) walk down the hall to a shared bath; cabin units are a short walk to shower/bath facility. Fathers and sons are housed together.
