Closing day on the sale of the "Johnson Property," Exective Director Bill Abeler congratulates new owner and local farmer Joe Johnson. Proceeds from the sale of this land, purchased in 2002 and unconnected from other Camp properties, will help fund a major portion of the current project.
Volunteer Gary Resch, aided by Bobber Bill, remove the lower ballfield backstop. The current ballfield will be raised 1-2 ft. to achieve better drainage.
Faithful friends from member church First Baptist-Anoka were here Saturday to lend a hand with fence and tree removal. A job well done!
Over 30 students from Bethel University weathered rainy weather to join in on the action. The conditions ended up being great for mud wrestling, too. We sure did appreciate their help!
