Week of November 10 and Beyond

A culvert is set on the driveway (Turtle Bay in background) to help manage rainwater discharge off the (newly raised) ballfield.
High-tech laser transits keep the project "on the level" when it comes to matching finished elevations to the plan.

The arching roadway and the finish-graded ballfield are completed. Unfortunately, two weeks of rain and now freezing temperatures mean the site will have to wait til Spring for grass seeding.

On the “North 40”, the parking lot near the new main entrance – eventually to service the duplex cabin area – nears completion.

The ballfields, now frozen for the winter, are nearing finish grade. The large pile of material in the background is stockpiled topsoil which will be spread on the field just before seeding operations.

Logging "slash" (tree tops) from the RV area is put to the torch.

Work on the new maintenance shop commences! Located near the current Eagle Ridge entrance, the 40x96 state-of-the-art structure will boast a wood shop, metal/motors shop, office, finishing room, and storage loft.

Frigid temps and winds set in . . . just in time for the big project.
Roof trusses are set.

Construction manager Art Bliese looks on while the guys position the last truss.

Thanksgiving Eve - A stunningly beautiful day, and the roof steel goes on!
